Glad to hear you liked the site. I haven't been doing much Reasor genealogy in the last couple of years. The posts are all still there if you click the 'Reasor Genealogy' category. I put several pictures in a slideshow on the front page. I think I will try to put great grandpa's picture on the header again, I liked it too.

What happened to the Reasor.com site with great grandpa's picture at the first? Can we go back to that? I thought it was quite interesting as did my children and friends.

Gary, I haven't looked at reasor.com in a long time-not since the first thing to see was Daniel Sheffy Reasor's picture and information regarding the bridge at Dryden which was named for him. He was my great grandfather, and I have several pieces of furniture from his house at Deep Springs and a letter he wrote back from trhe war. How are you related to him?

Regards,
Emma Bea

Your great grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. My grandfather was Daniel Franklin Reasor who was about 1-2 years older than your Great grandfather. I talked to your grandfather, Bascom, sometime in the early 90's when my brother and I were driving north from Florida. I have a picture I believe of your great grandfather and my grandfather taken sometime in the 1890's. My father, Leland, visited your grandfather sometime in the midddle 50's and the other relatives over in Big Stone Gap, Pennington Gap and Olinger, VA. My dad was born in Olinger, VA. Your Great Grandfather was Samuel P. Reasor wasn't he?
